So many Easter egg hunts this year!
Maddy started out with an egg hunt at school. I went and helped with the party, it was fun hiding all those eggs. Those Kindergartens are fast, they had them all found within minutes. Right after school we headed to Elmo for the annual Easter festivities. Trever had to work, so Malinda drove down with the girls and I. When we arrived grandpa Elroy took the girls to an egg hunt at the Elmo retirement home (the only business in Elmo).
This was Kennedy's first egg hunt she really understood, add in her obsession with candy and the girl caught on very quick. She got more eggs then the big kids. They brought out all the residents, you could tell they really had
a good time watching the kids run around being young.
The following day the rest of the family joined for a day filled with egg coloring, playing, egg filling, playing, filling water balloons, lunch, climbing rocks in the desert, massive egg hunt in the desert, water balloon fight with launchers. Girls had a lot of fun. Then we were invited to go ride four wheelers, Maddy has been told she cant have one until she can drive one all by herself. She never cared too much in the past, but this time she was determined. And she did great, I just hung on the back while she did all the driving and steering. She may have a four wheeler in her future.
I didnt take my camera out to the desert so those will just have to be memories. But what would a Easter be without a bunny
Actual Easter weekend we were going to go camping, but with all the rain and snow we decided to stay home and do some spring cleaning to our yard. Not as fun, but has to be done. We did our first egg hunt at our house, that was fun. All recycled candy from previous hunts, but its finding the eggs that's the fun part right!
Then off to my moms for another egg hunt, you would think they would be wore out but nope.
