Happy St. Pattys day

We usually get together with some friends to have few green beers, but that didn't work out this year. Daddy made the girls some green breakfast (cant say I was too upset by missing that one!), and he made some corn beef and cabbage. I had never tried it, so I agreed to. Its OK, but nothing great! I guess its fine for once a year.

Walking

Miss Kenna is walking! She still walks like a drunk but she is walking! Within a few days she will be cruising around everywhere. I knew it was going to happen soon, so yesterday as Trever was racing to leave for work he put her down on her feet, wouldn't you know it she took a step. So he sat down and for few minutes we sent her back and forth, and after a few times she took 4 steps! With Trever now on his 17Th straight day of working, I was so happy he got to witness her first steps! Since then she is up to 10-15 steps at a time. She will be running around in a few short days. I tried posting a video but its not cooperating

New Trailer

Well we did it, bought a brand spankin' new trailer! I cant believe Trever talked me into it. I have told him for well over a year now, if he wanted a new trailer he had better show me the cash because I wasn't financing a new trailer! So we meet way on my side, and I agreed to finance some of it with a plan to have it paid off.. very soon. We got a brand new 2008 27 foot hideout. It has the queen "master" bedroom which is completely blocked off with a wall from the rest of the trailer, all but unheard of in this typ/length of trailer. There is a couch which we wanted, and a triple bunk for the girls. We will never really outgrow the trailer, as there is enough beds for us, and any friends the girls may want to bring in the future we know that is coming soon. Maddy's friend next door has already named dibs on the top bunk. We picked it out at the RV show which we did not take Maddy too, so when we brought home the pamphlet on the trailer and showed her she was pretty excited. Well at her b-day party somebody said "Maddy I heard you getting a new trailer" she said "Yeah I am, but its only in a book we don't really have it". She was very excited when we actually got to bring it home. I can not wait until summer, I need to see the sun and go camping. Hopefully we will make it out Easter weekend as usual. Usually we go to Sand dunes, but with the so many kiddos in the group now Sand dunes just isn't the safest place so we will probably head somewhere else. Cold or not, I need to go camping!!!!

Maddy's projects

Maddy really enjoys doing projects! Here are a few from this last week. Aunt Malinda watches the girls on most Thursdays, they do alot of fun things. They made a cake that looked like a plate of spaghetti and meatballs. Plates that look like Elmo and Cookie Monster and so much more. Its so ironic to me how I could look at this same picture of another persons kid projects and think "hmm cute I guess", but knowing how excited Maddy was to show me her projects just makes me a happy mom to look at them, so yes I took pictures and I am proud!

10 Months old!!

Kennedy is 10 months old today. It's kinda funny, our good friends Torrey and Amanda had their baby girl today making Kennedy and miss baby(not named yet) exactly 10 months apart. Their other child, Gavin, Maddy and he are one day off of being exactly 8 months apart. Weird how things like that work out. And to sidetrack, my friend Kristin and I somehow ended up pregnant together, then had close due dates, then I ended up having Kennedy on her due date, and she had Linkin on my due date.. 8 days apart. Weird...
Kennedy is a pretty happy baby, 96% of the time is he all smiles and giggles. She weighs in at 22 lbs. She is so ready to walk, people have bets on when its going to happen. She can stand for about a minute, she walks along couches, and even from couch to couch, but she still doesn't have the greatest balance. She is learning to lean in a direction to keep from falling, so I think she will be walking pretty soon. Maddy's room is her favorite place to be. When she disappears, I always know I will find her in Maddy's room.
I'm not sure if all babies go through this and I just got way lucky with Maddy, but Kennedy decided while ago she didn't want to sleep unless I was with her. That made for some sleepless nights. It only lasted a few nights, thank the lords. Knock on wood, she is back to sleeping through the night.
She has weird skin "rash" on her neck that appeared about 6 months ago. It has changed colors from pale to a pale brown, so I asked the doc about it at Maddy's check up. He checked all his books and couldn't find anything it might be, so has refereed me a dermatologist. She has an appointment next week, I know its nothing but better safe then sorry.. right.
Overall Kennedy is a very good happy baby. She enjoys being around people, even when shes grumpy if you smile or giggle at her she will stop crying (if only for a second) and smile back. I'm so blessed to have a second happy baby. I'm not forgetting paybacks for teenage years though :)
Congrats to Torrey and Amanda! Cant wait to meet Miss Ferg tomorrow
Happy 10 months! I love you Kennedy!
