I finally got my flowers done, well almost. I only have a few more to put in, I decided I needed more color. I love summer :)

Maddy Graduates Preschool...

for the first time!
Since she was in the older class all her classmates are heading off to Kindergarten, but not Maddy she has another year of preschool ahead of her. She is pretty bummed shes the only one not going to kindergarten but I'm sure she will get over it when she meets her new classmates. And our brand new Elementary is opening for the 2009 school year so at least she will be attending a different preschool next year. They did a cute little program, sang lots of songs and then got "diplomas". Afterward we went out for ice cream at Leatherby's. Maddy leaves preschool counting to at least 200, I'm sure she could go higher but my sanity only permits to 200. Reading simple sentences such as "the dog ran fast", addition and subtraction up to 20, some clock reading, thats about all I can remember for now. She really enjoyed Miss Kaleanas preschool, and learned alot!

Wheeler farm

Maddy went on a field trip to Wheeler farm last week. She had fun, and really liked that Gavin got to go on her field trip. I remember that place being a lot neater then it is now. I guess maybe its just the difference between a child and an adults perception. Kennedy liked the animals, of course she tried head butting them through the fences.

First Camping Trip

We took our new trailer out for the first time this weekend to Skull Valley! It all went very smooth, and it was very nice having the bathtub to wash the kids after a long day in the dirt, and being covered in sunblock and bug spray! We took our neighbor Kylie, and then Kristin and Shawn & boys, Torrey, Amanda, Gavin & baby Mayrn, and Randy (guy Trever works with) and his family all met us up there. Worked out nice, every kid had somebody their own age. There were lots of 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, a Rhino and even Dante's 3 wheeler! Other then the bugs, it was alot of fun. Nice to get away, and I'm so glad its finally warm enough to go camping! We did learn Kennedy has allergies, poor girl had a rough couple hours. And I came to the conculsion I dont react well to bug bites. I have well over fifty, and they are huge. My poor scalp is covered. From now on Im eating a bottle of garlic pills before I go camping, nobody will want to sit by me but at least the bugs will stay away (I hope!)

Kennedy turns 1!

Miss Kenndy Belle turned one today! I know I say it all the time, but really where does the time go??? I cant believe its already been a whole year since little Kennedy came into this world. We had a birthday party for her at the park on Sunday. She got her very own cake, and ate almost the whole thing. Of course she was sharing with Linkin and I.
For the most part she is a very happy baby. She really has brought so much joy to our family, making us a complete family. As I did for Maddy, here is a list of things about Kennedy

1. Wont have official weigh in until her year check up next week, but weighs appx. 22 pounds
2. Loves food, all food
3. favorite place is Maddy's room, whenever she has disappeared i know where to find her
4. likes large characters, loved the ones at chucky cheese
5. walked at 10 months
6. takes one nap in the late morning
7. has been carrying the smurf/sea bug she got for her birthday around for 2 days now
8. already gets very upset when something is not going her way
9. learned how to open my cell phone, and now its all she wants to play with
10.big time mamas girl, but getting better as she gets older
11. twirls her hair when she gets tired
12. Loves food, all food
13. gently head butts all dogs she comes around, as if its her way of communicating with them
14. despite my best efforts, she is a Cinco De Mayo baby
15. gets really really mad if you don't feed her fast enough
